米国SHEAの患者向け７つの感染対策

　久しぶりにThe Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) のホームページをのぞいたら、医療関連感染の患者向けガイド Patient Guides on Healthcare-Associated Infectionsが紹介されていた。Ａ４で１枚づつ、術後感染Surgical Site Infection (SSI) から、カテーテル感染Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI) 、導尿カテーテル感染Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) 、Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP) 、クロストリジウムClostridium difficileから、Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)まで。
　ＣＤＣもいっしょに作成したペーパーで、新人教育にも使えそう。

たとえばCAUTIには、「もしも医療従事者が自分たちの手をきれいにしていない場面をみたら、手をきれいにするように頼んでください。」と促す。すごい。
